FRANCES CHEWNING

Frances Chewning (Cassandra in Animals and Plants) is a second-year acting student at the A.R.T./MXAT Institute for Advanced Theatre Training. She was last seen as Yelena Popova/Masha in Three Fraces and a Funeral on the Loeb Stage and appeared as Lena in the Institute production of Leonce and Lena, Rosina in Goldoni's The Holiday Trilogy, the Mistress in Tolstoy's Fruits of Enlightenment, an Angel in Shaw's Passion, Poison, and Petrifaction, and Sonya in Uncle Vanya. Before coming to the Institute she earned a B.A. in Philosophy from Lawrence University.
