Rachael Warren, playing Ismene in Antigone
and Mrs. Dubidat in The Doctor's Dilemma,
is a graduate of the Institute
for Advanced Theatre Training who appeared previously at the A.R.T. as Marilyn
in Nobody Dies on
Friday, Violet Robinson in Man
and Superman, and in the chorus in The
Bacchae. She recently appeared at Trinity
Repertory Company as Lady Teazle in The School for Scandal and previously
as Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady. Other credits include the title role
of Princess Turandot, Tonight at 8:30, and the American premiere
of Misha's Party at Williamstown Theatre
Festival; Sugar Mountain at VIA Theatre, Clue: The Musical
at Organic Theatre; and A Day in Hollywood/A Night in the Ukraine and
Dancing the God at Nebraska Repertory Theatre. She toured nationally
as Cathy in Company, and with The Who's Tommy and Chess.
Ms. Warren was the vocalist for the world premiere of Ann Reinking's ballet,
Suite Kander at the State Ballet of Missouri, and she has taught and
performed with Ms. Reinking's Broadway Theatre Project over the past nine years.
In 1992, she was named as a Presidential Scholar in the Arts by the National
Foundation for Advancement in the Arts and performed at the Kennedy
Center in recognition of that achievement.
