 JEFF LIEBERMAN - guitars and keyboard
A.R.T.: Oedipus (guitars and keyboard). Composes and performs with improvisational electronic duo 'gloob(ic)'. Founding member of the fully improvisational quintet Gigawatt, founder of MIT ensemble Listen/Silence, previous performer with MIT Festival Jazz Ensemble. Performed and recorded with Arnold Dreyblatt and the Orchestra of Excited Strings, as well as with Gamelan Galak Tika, touring Bali and performing at Carnegie Hall in 2005. Winner of the Philip Lowe award for creative accomplishments in music. Studied with Mr. Gunther, Ms. Wood. Graduated 2000 with B.S. in physics and mathematics, finished a masters in mechanical engineering 2004, in robotics 2006 [all at MIT], and is currently pursuing a PhD. at the MIT Media Lab, also publishes photography and builds robotic art installations. |
