JOHN GRANT-PHILLIPS

John Grant-Phillips, who restaged the current revival of The King Stag, has been a working professional director and actor for over thirty years. A graduate of the Yale School of Drama, he was Production Stage Manager for the A.R.T. for five years, during which he helped supervise over thirty-five productions and restaged Sganarelle and The King Stag for international theatre festivals throughout Europe and the U.S. As an actor, he has appeared in over 150 stage productions and has had more than 50 roles on television and in films, most recently as a policeman in Benny and Joon. He is currently the Executive Director of Civic Theatre in Spokane, Washington.
