TICKETING POLICIES |
|
Subscriber Standby - This is a courtesy we extend to subscribers who did not, or could not, exchange their subscription seats 24 hours in advance of their show time. Subscriber Standbys are free to bring their unused tickets to any other performance of the same play and, as long as there are available seats, they will be admitted into the performance. We seat subscriber standbys moments before showtime, at the house manager’s discretion, in the order they arrived. Standbys can reserve their place in line by getting their tickets numbered at the reception desk as early as two hours before showtime. Please note: it is the subscriber’s responsibility to see each of their scheduled performances (either at their scheduled time or via standby) and that once a particular play is over there is no possibility to use these tickets for another play.
Snow Standby – On the occasion of an extreme weather situation in which the city of Cambridge declares a snow emergency we may offer non-subscribers the chance to see another performance of the same play. Declaring a show’s audience eligible for Snow Standby is at the sole discretion of A.R.T.’s management. Snow Standbys must bring their unused tickets to any other performance of the same play and, as long as there are available seats, they will be admitted into the performance. We begin seating Snow Standbys moments before showtime, at the house manager’s discretion, in the order they arrived after all Subscriber Standbys are seated. Snow Standbys can reserve their place in line by getting their tickets numbered at the reception desk as early as two hours before showtime. Please note: if a snow standby cannot see another scheduled performance of the same play they will not be allowed to use them for another play. |
