The A.R.T.'s flexible and intimate second performance space at the intersection of Arrow Street and Mass. Avenue in Cambridge is now open!  This 300-seat theatre serves as an incubator for new work in addition to hosting performances by the A.R.T./MXAT Institute for Advanced Theatre Training and collaborations with other organizations. Performance times and dates are updated below and on the A.R.T. calendar. Don't miss the adventure of new work, young artists, and multiple disciplines all at affordable prices - the signature mission of Zero Arrow Theatre.

If you're coming by car, one option is to park at the Charles Hotel Garage (One Bennett Sreet, coupon available, call 617.491.0298 for current rates). Bring your parking ticket to the Box Office on the day or night of your performance for validation. We also offer validation for the University Place Garage (617.491.0801)

  • From North or South, take Route I-93 to the Storrow Drive exit, following signs for Cambridge. Storrow Drive becomes Soldier's Field Road.
  • From West take Massachusetts Turnpike to exit at Allston tolls. Follow signs to Cambridge, and enter Storrow Drive/Soldier's Field Road.

Exit Soldier's Field Road at Harvard Square, turn right onto John F. Kennedy Street (indicated on map as JFK St.) and cross the river and Memorial Drive. Turn left onto Eliot Street, left again onto Bennett Street, continue past the Charles Hotel on your left and turn left onto University Road; the entrance to the Charles Square Garage will be immediately on your left, underneath the Charles Hotel. The entrance to the University Place Garage will be on the right.

Walking to Zero Arrow Theatre from the Charles Square or University Place Parking Garage:exit onto University Road., turn right onto Mt. Auburn Street, proceed across John F. Kennedy Street (indicated on map as JFK St.), bear left on Bow Sreet, turn left on DeWolfe Street, and immediately right on Arrow Street.


Parking is available in HARVARD UNIVERSITY's 1033 MASSACHUSETTS AVENUE lot (entrance on ELLERY STREET)

Limited parking is available weekday evenings (5:00-11:30 pm) and all day weekends (7:00 am-11:30 pm) at the University's 1033 Massachusetts Avenue lot (at corner of Mass. Ave. & Ellery St., enter on Ellery St.), just a couple blocks east of Zero Arrow. Event permits can be purchased up to 2 weeks in advance for $5, either in person (at Harvard Parking Services, 46 Blackstone Street, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm) or online, 24-hours a day, 7 days a week.

Purchasing a Parking Pass: Online Permits are available to Zero Arrow patrons (based on availability) for $5 per event. All major credit cards are accepted, and all sales are final. The online form can be accessed at https://www2.uos.harvard.edu/cgi-bin/permit/purchase.pl

  • First-time users must Register: Create your own User Name and fill out form
  • Harvard employees and students with valid Harvard ID's do not need to register. Simply enter your ID and last four digits of your social security number to access the site.
  • Permits ARE NOT TRANSFERRABLE. Please choose your date carefully.
  • Place the permit on your dashboard when you park.
  • When registering or ordering a pass, use the following:
    • Department = American Repertory Theatre
    • Department Code = 7500
    • Parking lot = 1033 Massachusetts Avenue

The entrance to the 1033 Massachusetts Avenue lot is on Ellery Street. To reach it from Mass. Ave., turn right on Trowbridge, right on Harvard Street, and right on Ellery Street. See Google map for more details.


VALET PARKING AT OUR RESTAURANT PARTNERS NEAR ZERO ARROW

Still not sure where to park when you visit Zero Arrow Theatre? Try these options:

  • Grafton Street Pub & Grill - one block from Zero Arrow at 1230 Massachusetts Avenue (corner of Bow Street), from 6:00 pm Wednesday-Saturday, for theatre patrons who spend at least $60, parking is free!  Dinner is served until 11:00 pm and the bar is open until 2:00 am. For more information, contact Grafton Street Pub and Grill at 617.497.0400.
  • The Inn at Harvard (just across Massachusetts Avenue) - free valet parking with $35 prix fixe dinner. Please call the Inn at Harvard at 617-491-2222 and show your tickets for that performance.

Other parking options for Zero Arrow Theatre: parking is often available at metered spots nearby, and a few spots may also be available under the theatre (entrance on Mt. Auburn Street).

ACCESS

Zero Arrow Theatre is fully wheelchair accessible via the main entrance on Massachusetts Avenue and there is a ramp from Mount Auburn St. to the Massachusetts Ave. entrance.
